Tasty Tuesday: Chop Suey

We love this recipe and I wanted to share it with you because of it’s ease and simplicity. Here’s what you do:

    Ingredients

3 Pounds Chop Suey meat
2 TBSP Oil
8 TBSP Soy Sauce
2 Cups Water
1 Bunch Celery/chopped
1 Onion/chopped
2 TBSP Cornstarch
1/4 Cup Water
Salt & Pepper to taste

    Directions:


Brown meat in oil. Once browned, add soy sauce and 2 C water. Cover loosely and simmer for two (2) minutes. Add chopped celery and onion. Simmer for one and a half (1.5) hours, stirring occasionally. Blend your cornstarch and remaining water in a cup and slowly add to meat mixture, stirring constantly until blended. Season with salt and pepper, serve over rice. (make it easy and use instant rice!)
